Membership and payment
mandatory
CALGARY / LAKE ASSOCIATION
Midnapore Lake Residents Association Ltd.
Midnapore Lake membership follows an encumbered property, with separate registration for owners and tenants. The 2026 annual fee is published, but payment surcharges differ between official references. Confirm the amount for your payment method and obtain the property's own account balance when buying or moving within the community.
No individual title, account balance or household access is certified here. A maintenance boundary, nearby amenity or condo fee does not settle those questions.
01 / FOLLOW THE MONEY
| Property / fee class | Amount | Tax & applicability |
|---|---|---|
| Annual lake maintenance | $314.00 | Tax not confirmed$329.70 including GST, as published. |
Published deadline / period: January 1, 2026
Published late-payment information: New-member PDF states 1.5% monthly after January 31; annual-fee page describes 18% annually, compounded monthly with daily additions. Ask MLRA for the account calculation and applicable start date.
Payment is mandatory even without lake use. Non-delivery of an invoice does not remove the payment obligation. No future dollar amount is inferred from the board's inflation outlook.

02 / THE PROPERTY CONTEXT
mandatory
yes
Eligibility requires a title encumbrance. The neighbourhood name or an address text match does not establish membership; confirm the specific property with MLRA.
Supply title, an access application and government photo ID showing the address. Book a registration appointment; unpaid accounts cannot access facilities.
Supply an application, address ID and a lease expressly granting access. If the lease is silent, obtain the landlord's assignment letter.
The documents assign the owner's privileges to tenants but do not expressly resolve simultaneous access or resident-landlord suite scenarios. Obtain written confirmation for that arrangement.
The FAQ limits membership to encumbered properties. Confirm the actual title before applying this exclusion to an address.
03 / THE PROPERTY CONTEXT

Activities and lake conditions vary seasonally; check the operator before visiting.
05 / THE PROPERTY CONTEXT
Published guest categories describe juniors as over twelve and children as below twelve. The wording does not explicitly assign age twelve to either category. Obtain the office's registration and guest allowance decision before planning a visit.
Designated and senior members may host up to ten, within the household daily limit. Junior members may host three; children cannot host guests. Hosts stay with guests. Larger groups require at least 72 hours' notice.
The document index's 2013 group-booking description refers to more than fifteen guests. The current guest rule and homepage use ten. Follow the current rule and confirm approval before inviting a larger group.
Gas motors are prohibited. Battery-powered boats require sealed marine batteries. Boats may be inspected and must be brought to the launch at least 30 minutes before closing; owners secure their equipment.
The fishing page retains a general three-trout line alongside a temporary one-rainbow-trout daily restriction. The FAQ also states one rainbow trout over 12 inches daily, with twelve monthly per household. Confirm the current restriction before keeping fish.
Members cannot use the park for personally profitable events or lessons. Instruction is coordinated through the office; lakefront access does not override closing hours.
The FAQ says fee payment does not transfer between properties. Old cards become invalid when moving to another home; register against the new property. Replacement cards are listed at $5.
